Bricks Hotel

My Experience

My hotel
My hotel

My doctor is cooperating with the hotel we picked Bricks Hotel and even offers to order through him but we looked at the website and wanted to choose our own type of room and have food included so we ordered directly from the website https://www.brickshotels.com, it was about the same price anyways.

We asked around in the fb group for nose surgeries how the hotel was and quite a few people wrote that they loved it, loved the food and loved the staff. So it got super good recommendations.

After our stay there we can agree to that!

The hotel was super nice, we loved our room, the staff was super nice and at the end we wrote recommendation letters for quite a few staff members that we felt did their job exceptionally well.

We were staying in the Junior Suite and got a room with a balcony since it was very important to my mom to be able to sit outside. The balcony was SO SMALL, you could just fit a chair there sideways to sit xD but it was enough for my mom to get some sun.

The hotel is located along a very trafficated road so our balcony that was facing that road was EXTREMELY LOUD. So in order to sit out there you would have to use headphones and listen to something, otherwise the traffic noises would just make you crazy.

But you can get a room with balconies facing the back side, maybe it's quieter there but then you probably won't get as much sun.

Below are some photos from our room, the breakfast area and our dinners.

The food:

We got breakfast and dinner included because we didn't want to be wandering around at night trying to find a place to have dinner and it was nice to just go to breakfast instead of having to find a place for that if there were any breakfast places.

The breakfast was pretty good, a lot of choices. Note that they do not serve pig products such as bacon since most of the people in the country are Muslims.

The dinner was good in many cases, not so good in some cases.

What scared me the most was the first page of the menu mentioning that said this:

,,Cooked meat, poultry, fish or eggs may increase risk for food borne illness."

I am very afraid of food poisoning so this seemed like a disclaimer in case we got sick! I don't eat meat so it was easy for me but still made me worried. My mom eats meat and had many if not all of the meat dishes and never got sick.

If you want any recommendations then I really liked the mushroom soup, lentil soup, Baby heart of Artichoke and the risottos. My mom loved the avocado fish pre course and said the club sandwich, pizza and chicken wrap was very good but didn't like the lamb chops or the beef wrap.

The steamed root vegetables were not good, they were hardy cooked, very hard and just dry if anything.
